Texas Warrant Roundup
The Aransas Municipal Court is getting prepared for the Texas Warrant Roundup with the participation of the Aransas Police Department.
The law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Texas will kick off a massive effort to collect debt owed on outstanding warrants.
The state of Texas allows for a grace period before the Warrant Roundup strikes.
The Amnesty period will start February 17, 2020-February 28, 2020.
The Amnesty period is to give the people with outstanding warrants or Capias Pro Fines an opportunity to come in to the Court and take care of their fines without being arrested. They will be offered options of how to take care of their fines.
The Texas Warrant Round Up will begin February 29, 2020 til March 13, 2020.
Once the roundup starts, you can be arrested at any time or any place; including your home, work or school.
Our Court encourages everyone to take advantage of the Amnesty Period to avoid from getting embarrassed by getting arrested.
